교황청재단 가톨릭 사목 원조기구 고통받는 교회 돕기 ACN은 매년 10월 7일, 묵주 기도의 복되신 동정 마리아 기념일에 전 세계 평화와 일치를 위해 ‘100만 어린이 묵주기도 캠페인’(One Million Children Praying the Rosary)을 펼친다. 

2005년 남미 베네수엘라 수도 카라카스 외곽 지역 성지에서 어린이들이 모여 묵주기도를 바치는 모습을 보며, 어머니들은 성 비오 신부님의 말씀과 성모님의 강한 현존을 느꼈다. 2008년부터 ACN은 이 기도운동의 재정 지원을 하였고, 2017년에는 전 세계적인 기도 캠페인으로 확산하였다. 전 세계 어린이가 평화와 일치를 위해 묵주기도를 바치며, 함께 부를 주제가로 ACN 한국지부가 이 앨범을 제작하였다.

‘The Pontifical Foundation for Catholic Pastoral Aid, Aid to the Church in Need’ (ACN) launches the ‘One Million Children Praying the Rosary’ campaign every year on October 7, Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary, for peace and unity around the world. 

In 2005, mothers felt the words of Saint Padre Pio and the strong presence of Mary as children gathered to pray the rosary at a shrine outside the Venezuelan capital of Caracas, South America. Since 2008, ACN has financially supported this prayer movement, which in 2017 expanded into a global prayer campaign. The ACN Korea Section produced this album to be sung by children around the world as they pray the Rosary for peace and unity.
